Also known as: Dubai Land Department
DLD is the Dubai Land Department — the government body that records every property transaction and project in Dubai.
The Dubai Land Department is the official registrar for real estate in the Emirate of Dubai. It records ownership, registers off-plan projects, issues title deeds, and licenses brokers and developers.
Every DLD-registered project has a public project page. You can look up the developer, construction progress, escrow account, and RERA registration number.
RERA sits inside the DLD. When people say "DLD verified" they usually mean the project has been registered with the DLD and carries a live RERA number.
